Privacy policy

TACE is the client portal for Wavelength, a web design studio run by Tace Logsdon. Businesses we work with use it to send us requests, follow their progress and share files. This page explains what the app collects and what happens to it.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), business name and business type, and anything you write when you apply.
- What you send us: requests, comments, and the photos and files you attach. Photos come from your camera or photo library only when you choose to add one.
- Your device's push token, if you allow notifications, so we can tell you when a request changes.
- The email addresses of people you add to your portal.
- If you chat in Assistant, your messages and its replies, and short notes it keeps about your business so later answers fit.
- If you connect Mailchimp, your Mailchimp key (stored encrypted) and a record of each email you send from the portal: subject, list name and how many people it went to. Your customers' addresses stay in Mailchimp; we don't copy them.
- For a website we built and host for you: daily page-view totals per page and per source. No cookies, no IP addresses and nothing about any one visitor.
- Short technical logs on our server (such as error messages, times of requests, and the IP address of failed sign-ins), kept for security and troubleshooting.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no analytics and no tracking across other apps or websites.
- We never sell your information or share it for marketing.
How we use it
Only to run your portal: to sign you in, do the work you request, reply to you, and send emails and notifications about your requests and your account.
AI help
AI help is powered by Wavelength, using an outside AI company. It helps do the work you request and answers you in Assistant. Only if you allow it: the app asks once, and you can change your answer any time under Account, AI help. When it's on, the requests, messages and files involved are sent to that company. When it's off, a person does your requests and Assistant stays off. To set up Assistant we also give it text from your public website.
Who handles it for us
- Supabase stores accounts, requests and files.
- Cloudflare carries traffic between the app and our server.
- Apple delivers push notifications.
- iCloud Mail sends account and request emails.
- An outside AI company runs AI help, only if you allow it (see above).
- Stripe takes payments for your plan. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us.
- Mailchimp sends your emails, only if you connect it.
- Google: we look up your business's public Google reviews by its name to show them on your website tab.
Each one handles the data only to provide that service.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account and requests for as long as you have an account. You can delete it at any time in the app under Account, Delete account. That removes your login, every request, comment and file you sent, your Assistant chats, your Mailchimp connection, and your device's push token, straight away. You can also email us to have it deleted. Copies of emails we already sent you stay in your inbox and ours.
Children
TACE is for businesses and isn't meant for children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its date. Big changes we'll tell you about by email.
